Staff members and students attended the same. International Day of Yoga Celebrated on 21-06-2019 at Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura. A seminar on 'Science and Vedas' on February 22, 2019 was organised by VC WING of PMNC with the help of Hare Krishna Centre. Dr. Keshwanand Das, Director, Vedic Revival Research Centre, Boston (USA) was the Keynote speaker. Management Department of Vocational Courses Wing,PMN College had organised a motivational  event for BBA students on 21st Feb 2019 on Collage Making and Power Point Presentation. Staff members and Students of PMNC and PIMT paid homage to martyrs of Pulwama attack on 14Feb, 2019 and gave tribute to the CRPF personnels by lightining candles.Two minutes of silence was being observed in the memory of departed souls. Department of economics organized a guest lecture on Agrarian crisis in Punjab. Lecture was delivered by Prof. Jaskaran Singh Gill from Ramgharia College, Phagwara.

  Important Notice for Students

Students are already aware that in order to avoid the situation of Covid-19, the college has continued their teaching through online medium. As per the guidelines of Punjabi University, Patiala every student is required to submit two online assignments of their subjects to their teacher. Therefore, all the students are instructed to contact their relevant subject teacher and submit two online assignments of their subjects to their teacher by 27.04.2020 as mentioned above. Failure to do so will held the student responsible for any kind of non-declaration of result and any kind of fine imposed by the university.


  As per the letter of Punjabi University dated 21.04.2020, all the members of teaching staff are hereby directed to take two online comprehensive assignment from the students of their respective subject i.e.
1. First in lieu of Mid semester examinations (maximum marks 20)
2. Second for awarding marks of internal assessment (maximum marks according to marks of internal assessment of their subject).
The last date to take said online comprehensive assignment is 27.04.2020. Following guidelines must be followed in this regard:
1) The assignment must be of 2-3 pages.
2) Teacher would maintain a single folder for saving assignment of each subject, as it could be used for future reference and record keeping.
3) Teacher should use class, semester and subject name for folder name. Example : BASem4EngLit or B.ComSem6CostAc
4) Students should be asked to give their roll no. and subject as file name of their assignments. Example, if a student of B.A. is submitting assignment of Punjabi, he will give file name as "2201Pbi"
